Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

LinkedIn Ad Block is a Chrome extension that blocks sponsored posts and display advertisements from your LinkedIn feed. This privacy policy explains how the extension handles your data.

Data we collect

LinkedIn Ad Block does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension does not log your browsing activity, LinkedIn usage, or any other information about you.

How the extension works

The extension runs entirely within your browser. It reads the content of LinkedIn pages that you visit in order to identify and hide sponsored posts and display advertisements. This processing happens locally on your device and no data is sent to any external server.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

Access to linkedin.com — required to read the page content and identify sponsored posts for hiding.

Storage — used to save your on/off preference locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

Third-party services

LinkedIn Ad Block does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
